About Us

Hello, I’m Jason Onago, and I run Onago Farms alongside my wife, Tina, and our daughter, Olivia. We are a 3rd generation farm located in Milan, MI. 

We specialize in producing high-quality hay for the equine industry, a focus we take seriously and work hard at throughout the growing and harvesting seasons. With over 20 years of experience raising and marketing forage for horses and other livestock, we proudly serve both local customers and clients across the eastern United States.  

As a small, family-run operation, all work on our farm is done by the three of us. We are committed to responsible land stewardship and work closely with the USDA and NRCS, participating in conservation programs to ensure our land remains productive and well cared for for generations to come.

All of our hay is tested by a third party independent laboratory. We have our hay tested for the nutritional value and we can pass these results onto the customer. We feel this service is essential for the customer to make wise feeding decisions for their animals.

Hay or grass is the foundation of the diet for all grazing animals and can provide as much as 100% of the fodder required for an animal. This is why choosing a quality hay is extremely important for your animals health.
